delicious how-to: the new years' eye

music: "Good Night Good Morning" by Beth Ditto

It's three days after Christmas and my New Years' Eve planning is already in full swing. Do you know what you'll be doing when the ball drops? If you're planning on getting fancy {even if it's just around your house!}, try this quick dramatic eye to finish your look. You only need three products {that you probably have lying around already} - a neutral base shadow, a dark contour shade, and black mascara. This look is not about perfection and requires no exact science - switch it up with neutral brown tones or funky colored shades, go lighter for less drama, or layer on the shadow for a super smoldering eye.

my products of choice:
- beige/gold Lancome shadow {which was the upper right in the palette that I showed for 0.03 seconds in the video. Similar shade here in 'Sin'}
- MAC Shadow in 'Earthly Riches' {it was a limited edition - similar shade here in 'Pewter'}
- Maybelline Volume Express One by One mascara
- Sephora shadow and liner brushes
- Smashbox High Definition Concealer
- Nars Blush in 'Orgasm'

Party hair tutorial to come...stay tuned this week!
